Night expectations All cubs need to ensure they are dressed for the weather on nights/events. This means no open toed shoes and cubs must wear comfortable clothing. Drink bottles are a must and are to be brought with them every single week. Cub shirts should be clean and neat with badges sewn on and scarves should be rolled properly. A good suggestion would be to have a small bag for their scouting items so they can just grab it and walk out the door.
Programs For our cubs that are writing programs, please ensure they provide us with a typed up program at least 2 weeks prior. This helps leaders organise the night better to help the cub run the program smoothly.
Drop off and pick up Please ensure that you walk your cub to the door each night. This is for their safety with cars coming in and out. We also ask that an adult must pick up their cub at the door also. A cub will not be let outside unless a parent or guardian is sighted by a leader. If you have anything to discuss with a leader please feel free to come to one of us before we start or at pick up. Our leadership team are more than happy to discuss anything you are not sure about.
Whatsapp Also please ensure at least one parent/guardian is in the whatsapp group. If you require an invite please let me know.
If you have any questions regarding the program or anything else please don't hesitate to ask. -- Yours in Scouting,
